the Los Angeles Dodgers won over the Minnesota Twins some cheered, some just sat there. In early October the atomic radiation laboratory was opened. A year ago the college received a grant of $10,000 from the Atomic Energy Commission to help defray in part the cost of equipment necessary to implement a program of nuclear education. October 15 the complete 1965-66 Intramural Sports Program was released by Mr. Leo Kilfoy, Athletic Director. Because of the great, and growing interest in intramurals, the students were pleased that the list included so many intramural activities. Schedules in- For the true fan, the addition of food to the World Series was a must. We can be thankful for the TV in the Union dining area. RADIATION LAB Opened in Lewis Hall Dr. John Norton and Bob Flaherty discuss the latest problem in political science over a cup of coffee in the college center. Students from the natural science, physics, chemistry and biology departments conducted experiments in the recently completed atomic radiation laboratory located in the basement of Lewis Hall. In the fall of the year, a time for leisure, a time for thought.
